October 01, 2008: Elisabeth Kisselstein, soprano; Rebecca Horning, piano. A FAREWELL TO SUMMER. Music for soprano and piano, including Stravinsky’s “Rake’s Progress” and Anna Trulove’s “No Word from Tom”.


October 08, 2008: Rhimmon Simchy-Gross, piano. J.S. Bach, Chopin, Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6, Prokofieff Toccata.


October 15, 2008: Sharon I-Chun Cheng, soprano; Emily Gibson soprano; accompanist TBA. Art songs for two sopranos by Handel, Donizetti, Schumann, Chausson, Debussy, and Britten’s “Underneath the Abject Willow”.


Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Concerto Competition Winner flutist Stephanie Cambra returns to collaborate with pianist Sar-Shalom Strong, Live At The Everson!


October 22, 2008: David Neal, baritone; Sar-Shalom Strong, piano. Lowell Liebermann’s “Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening”, which they premiered; Brahms, Frederick Keel, John Jacob Niles, Hugo Wolf, others.


October 29, 2008: Piano Studio of Robert Auler, SUNY Oswego. The four Chopin Ballades performed by Elizabeth and Evangeline Canfield, Timothy Lanigan, and Robert Auler.


November 05, 2008: Sabine Krantz, piano. Neglected Romantic Masterpieces, including Medtner Sonata Reminiscenza, Grieg Ballade, others.


Saturday, November 08, 2008: CMM STATEWIDE VOCAL COMPETITION Storer Auditorium, Onondaga Community College. Final round 2 P.M. Free and open to the public.


November 12, 2008: Jeanne Sperber, flute; Pej Reitz, piano. Flute and Piano duos in Twentieth Century New York State, including Hanson Serenade, Op. 35, Griffes Poem, Barber Canzone, and Copland Duo.


November 19, 2008: Jonathan Howell, tenor; Phil Eisenman, baritone; John Spradling, piano; Ida Trebicka, piano. Arias and duets.


Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. A Special Fundraising Event: AN AMERICAN TREASURE - Helen Boatwright, Soprano “…. the champion of American Song.” (Leonard Bernstein) performs German Lieder and American Song. $50 at the door; students free.
